Who we are

goodtours ("we", "us") operates private tuk-tuk tours in Lisbon, Portugal, and this website at goodtours.pt. You can contact us via WhatsApp with any question about this policy or your data.

What data we collect

We use Google Analytics (GA4), loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how long you stay, which buttons and links you click (for example, "Book on WhatsApp" or a FAQ question), what device and browser you're using, and roughly where in the world you're visiting from (based on your IP address, which Google Analytics truncates/anonymizes before storing).

This tracking runs by default when you visit the site. If you click Reject on the cookie banner, analytics is disabled and no further data is sent to Google Analytics.

The reservation form

If you use the reservation form on the site, the details you enter (name, tour, date, number of guests, message) are not stored on our server or database. Submitting the form simply opens a pre-filled WhatsApp conversation with us — from that point on, your message is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) on your device to distinguish you from other visitors across a session, for up to 14 months. We don't use any advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Legal basis and your rights

Under the GDPR, we rely on your consent as the legal basis for analytics tracking. By continuing to use the site without clicking Reject on the cookie banner, you consent to this tracking. You can withdraw that consent at any time by clicking Reject (if the banner is showing), by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via WhatsApp.
